Disclaimer: Don't own the JE boys (duh!), but OCs are mine and I created the story
Warnings: bad language, mentions of sex, bit angsty
Multi-Chapter

Note: This hit me out of the blue. Suddenly it was in my head and it's blending out everything else that I've been thinking of, so I've decided to start writing it. Well, this is what I've done so far. I really hope you like it. FInally coming back to KinKi (Yay!) and for the first time introducing other main pairings. Please note that this is a kind of intro chapter, introducing the situation the story will start at. As a little side-information (for those who care) the chapters will be named after MahJongg hands. "Breaking the wall" means to start the game. So here we begin...

Important: I'll be taking actual events, bending them into the story as I need them. Please don't flame me if I write things that did not actually occur, or differ from the real current situation. It's for the sake of the story-line, okay? ^^

Intro: Koichi finds himself in a totally bizarre situation, totally confused and in his head a million questions that will be very difficult to answer. What happened? Who is involved in the events? And why?

Hot.

His head was spinning. The air was hot and damp, making it difficult to breathe. His lungs were working hard, trying to suck in whatever oxygen they could. There was a sound somewhere in the distance, but he couldn’t really make it out over the noise of his own heavy breathing. He tried to catch his breath, to calm down, but it was impossible.

Tight.

Something was restraining him. Like he was in a tight grip. He couldn’t move freely and it felt bothersome. Something was definitely off. He gripped at the ground beneath him, finding it gave way under his fingers as they clasped together tightly, squeezing the material beneath him forcefully.

Pressure.

He could feel something moving – working… It was difficult to make out. He licked his lip as he tried to concentrate on the feeling, but whenever he thought he could identify it, something changed and it was again a total mystery. There was a shift somewhere behind him… Was there someone with him?

Wet.

His skin was slick from sweat. The air was humid and hot and he was trying to move – or trying to keep still, he wasn’t entirely sure, but whichever it was, he found it to be extremely hard, his body trapped in a weird pattern that seemed almost impossible to break. Even his hair was wet as his face finally rested against the ground beneath him.

Strong.

There was something… someone… He couldn’t really put a finger on it. Was he dreaming? Yes, that had to be it. That weird feeling of twilight, that state of being caught in the subconscious, even when you know you don’t belong there. He had to wake up. Had to. This had to be a nightmare. He had to wake up. He could hear a voice… somewhere… in the distance… Wake up, wake up! Please, wake up! Please…

“Please, wake up, please, wake up.”

Koichi blinked at the strong light that suddenly hit his eyes. Then he blinked to make out what was going on around him. Right next to him, he saw his partner sitting on a chair, hands folded together tightly, eyes closed and body rocking back and forth as a quivering mouth kept repeating the same words over and over.

“Please, Koichi, wake up. Please… just wake up.”

Koichi smiled affectionately. Tsuyoshi was always so protective of him. Suddenly he frowned. What was there to be worried about, anyway?

“I’m awake,” he rasped out weakly. “Will you tell me what’s going on?”

Tsuyoshi jumped in surprise, then stared at him in a way that would have made him laugh if he didn’t feel so… weird. Next his partner jumped up, touching his face as if to verify that Koichi was indeed moving and had just spoken to him.

“Koichi, are you okay?”

“I… what happened?”

“You tell me,” Tsuyoshi demanded. “You gave me the fright of my life.”

“Did I fall off stage?” Koichi tried to joke, but at the same time frowned, trying to recall what last he remembered to happen.

“Are you kidding me?” Tsuyoshi scoffed. “This is not the time for jokes.”

“Well, I’m sorry, but… the very last thing I remember is that I left the studio…”

Tsuyoshi bit his lip. “Well… I don’t know… I’ll better get the doctor.”

“Doctor?” Koichi asked, frowning.

Finally his surroundings became clearer and he could make a few connections. White walls, a biting smell in the air, dull neon lights and a high bed… He was in hospital. Before he could ask Tsuyoshi about it, though, the latter had already dashed off. Not even a minute later he was back again, a smile on his face.

“Okay, the doctor will be here in a minute,” he told Koichi.

The older man simply nodded his head.

“Ah,” Tsuyoshi continued, “your mother was here this morning. She went to buy some fruits, but I’m sure she’ll be back soon. She was really worried about you.”

“I wonder what happened,” Koichi sighed, rubbing his head. “I can’t remember a thing.” He gave Tsuyoshi a helpless look. “Do you know why I’m here?”

His partner shifted uncomfortably, avoiding his eyes. Koichi frowned at the reaction.

“You know something,” he analysed, his eyes turning into slits. “Tell me,” he demanded, but before Tsuyoshi could even try to make excuses, the door slid open and the doctor came in.

“Good morning, Koichi-kun,” he greeted Koichi. “It’s a rather unusual setting, isn’t it?”

Koichi chuckled politely, even though he wasn’t in the mood for jokes. It was true, though. Usually he would accompany Tsuyoshi to whatever appointments, or tests he would have. And now he was lying here, being treated by the very same doctor, Ikeda Yuri.

“Ah, Tsuyoshi-kun,” Ikeda addressed the younger man, “maybe it would be good if you left us alone for a while?”

Tsuyoshi nodded silently and made for the door.

Koichi, however, disliked the idea. “Why does he have to leave?” he asked with a frown. “Tsu, please stay. Whatever the doctor has to say, it’s okay if you hear it.”

“Are you sure, Koichi?” the doctor asked, sounding concerned. “It’s very private.”

“It’s fine,” Koichi decided. “Plus… I think he knows already. So, what’s the point in sending him away?”

“I’m not saying you should keep it from him,” Ikeda assured him. “I was merely thinking it would be good to give you some time… to understand.”

“Understand… what?” Koichi asked warily, suddenly feeling very uneasy.

“Tell him already,” Tsuyoshi urged, fidgeting nervously and scratching his arm in order to occupy himself.

“Sensei?” Koichi asked.

“Well, Koichi-kun…” the doctor began carefully. “You were admitted to our house two days ago.”

“Two days?” Koichi gasped.

“You were out,” Tsuyoshi commented, but still kept avoiding his gaze.

“Yes, Koichi-kun,” the doctor caught his attention again. “You were found… unconscious. In a common room.”

“Unconscious,” Koichi repeated, frowning. “Did I collapse? But I’ve been eating well lately.”

“Well, the thing is…” Ikeda continued carefully.

“You were raped,” Tsuyoshi blurted out, unable to bear the situation anymore.

Koichi’s gaze shot right to him, eyes wide. “WHAT?!”

“Tsuyoshi-kun,” the doctor glared at Tsuyoshi. “We do not know what happened.”

“Well, what else would you think has happened?” Tsuyoshi scoffed.

“I don’t know,” Ikeda retorted. “That is why I refrain from making guesses.”

“Why do you think…? What on earth happened?” Koichi demanded.

“I’m sorry, Koichi-kun, we don’t know,” the doctor admitted. “You were found on the floor. Nobody else was there at the time. You weren’t bleeding or anything, but you had a slight fever – most likely because you were left pretty much naked – and… well, we found… substance… in you.”

Koichi took the information in, trying to understand what the doctor was trying to tell him. He tried hard to remember anything that matched the scene he’d been given, but his mind was completely blank.

“I… you mean, I was…”

“Someone definitely left their essence in you,” the doctor confirmed. “I’m very sorry that I have to tell you this in such a way.”

“And the fact that he can’t remember… that’s another hint at rape,” Tsuyoshi analysed.

“I really ask you please, Tsuyoshi-san, to keep your guessing at bay,” Ikeda said firmly. Then he turned to Koichi again. “Koichi-kun, have you been seeing anyone lately? Or have you broken up, maybe?”

“I’ve told you, he would have told me about that,” Tsuyoshi grumbled. “And he’s not dating guys in the first place.”

“A jealous boyfriend can do dangerous things too,” the doctor explained.

Koichi shook his head, though. “I’ve been so busy working… There was nobody.”

“Someone who has a crush on you perhaps?” Ikeda suggested.

“Well…” Koichi mused.

“Machida-kun,” Tsuyoshi said readily.

Koichi stared at the other in shock. “What ever are you saying?”

“Anyone with a pair of working eyes can tell that he’s totally, I’d even say madly in love with you.”

Koichi just kept staring. “Are you insinuating that Macchin would have… He’s the sweetest guy on earth, he would never deal any harm to me.”

“Still waters run deep,” Tsuyoshi retorted. “I don’t know what he’s on about. He’s been stalking you forever.”

“We’re working together,” Koichi bit out. “And while we’re at it – am I supposed to add you to the list as well?”

At that Tsuyoshi stiffened and also the doctor blinked in surprise.

“That… that was ages ago,” Tsuyoshi defended himself, averting his gaze. “Don’t be so full of yourself. I’m well over you.”

“Oh?” Koichi made, quirking a brow.

“What – you think I did that?” Tsuyoshi bit at him.

“No,” Koichi spit back. “I know you didn’t. Same as I know that Macchin didn’t.”

The two of them glared at each other for a while longer, then Tsuyoshi sighed in defeat.

“It’s just so frustrating… not knowing anything,” he sighed.

“Well, what am I supposed to say?” Koichi asked sarcastically. “Someone had sex with me. I don’t even remember. I remember nothing. What happened? Who was it? Did I really not want it?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Tsuyoshi asked.

“Well,” Koichi shrugged helplessly, “like the doctor said, we don’t have any clues.”

“But you,” Tsuyoshi said warily, licking his lips, “you don’t do guys…”

Koichi bit his lip, cursing himself for blurting his thoughts out so easily.

“Can we… talk about that later?” he requested.

Tsuyoshi’s gaze told him that they could not discuss the issue later. The doctor seemed to feel the same way and thus fled the scene as quickly as possible.

“I’ll leave the two of you alone,” he decided. “Koichi-kun seems stable enough. If there’s any trouble, just call for a nurse. I’ll come back for evening check-up.”

Koichi merely nodded, feeling very uncomfortable with Tsuyoshi’s piercing eyes never leaving his form. He sighed once the door closed behind Ikeda and they were left alone. Carefully he looked up, meeting Tsuyoshi’s burning gaze.

“Please don’t hate me,” he pleaded. “I… I was scared, okay? And I wasn’t even sure…”

“What do you mean?” Tsuyoshi asked.

“When you… confessed to me,” Koichi explained. “I thought it was too risky, being together like that. I was also very concerned about those… well, interests… the things that are associated with it.”

“So… when you said you didn’t like guys…?”

A longer silence spread between them, but the older man knew it was to no avail to remain silent. Sooner or later he would have to say it anyway.

“I lied,” Koichi confirmed Tsuyoshi’s speculation. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know what to do. I guess I was too scared to turn you down properly. I apologise,” he said with a bow.

“But…” Tsuyoshi muttered, shaking his head. “What about… Rina? Keiko? Minako?”

Koichi chuckled lightly, ruffling through his hair. “What about them?”

“Well… you went out with them,” Tsuyoshi shrugged.

“So I did,” Koichi confirmed. “Isn’t it weird? When you tell people you’re gay, the straight ones won’t understand. The gay ones will, though, so that’s okay. When you’re straight, you’re lucky in the first place, even when the gay folk doesn’t really get what kind of appeal you find in the other gender. But if you find that gender doesn’t really affect you at all… nobody will understand that. So, why even bother telling anyone?”

A longer silence spread between them.

“So…” Tsuyoshi spoke up after a while, “You like… both?”

“Quite honestly, I don’t understand the big fuss everybody’s making about it. It’s such a random little thing. Why should it make that big a difference?”

Another pause followed during which Koichi tried to find a topic he could shift to without appearing too obvious and Tsuyoshi tried to process what the other had just told him.

After a while Tsuyoshi finally nodded slightly. “I… I think I understand your logics,” he stated. “I cannot say that I feel the same way, but I think I can understand. Just… why have you never told me?”

“I… I thought it would be easier, just saying I don’t like guys in the first place,” Koichi shrugged. Then he chuckled, giving Tsuyoshi a grin. “And now look at me here – coming out like this.”

Tsuyoshi, however, was concerned with something entirely different. “So… you just didn’t like me,” he analysed.

Koichi cursed inwardly. This conversation was definitely not going well. He could understand, of course, that Tsuyoshi would question their earlier conversations on the topic, but at the same time he felt like crying because he really needed Tsuyoshi as a support. Needed him more than ever before. He couldn’t quite explain it, but somehow the other’s mere presence has a calming effect on him. But then, as it was, it couldn’t be helped. He bemourned the fact that he couldn’t rely on his partner completely, as Tsuyoshi would naturally be wary of him, but there was nothing he could do. They definitely could not discuss everything right there.

“Tsu, I’m sorry, but right now I don’t feel like discussing that,” Koichi said apologetically. “I was too young – or maybe I just hadn’t thought things through properly enough to make an actual statement.”

“Sorry,” Tsuyoshi agreed, shaking his head in order to get off his train of thoughts. “This is really not the time.”

“At any rate, the doctor is right,” Koichi sighed, wrapping his arms around his knees slightly. “We totally don’t know what happened.”

“But you said you’re not seeing anyone,” Tsuyoshi reasoned.

“True,” Koichi mumbled. “But well… I’m not saying it’s impossible that maybe I agreed to something… and just afterwards something totally different might have happened. I simply don’t remember.”

Tsuyoshi rubbed his temples. “This is really bothersome.”

“Agreed,” Koichi dragged out, head dropping forward. “I’m feeling tired too.”

“You haven’t been up in a long time,” Tsuyoshi stated. “And you just got a lot of bothersome news. And we talked a lot too. About something I’m pretty sure you did not want to discuss right now.”

“We will talk about it,” Koichi promised.

“It’s okay,” Tsuyoshi assured him. “There will be plenty of time for that. For now, try to get some rest.”

Koichi nodded weakly, settling back down fully on the bed.

“Ne, Tsu?” he called out sleepily.

“Hm?”

“Are you… will you stay here? I don’t want to be alone,” Koichi mumbled, a faint blush coming to his cheeks.

Tsuyoshi smiled warmly. “Certainly. Never worry. I’m here. I’ll protect you. So, you sleep.”

Koichi nodded. “Arigatou, na,” he muttered out, sleep already in his voice.

Sleep, Koichi. It’s okay. I’ll be here and watch out for you. And I’ll find whoever did this to you. I know it was nothing you agreed to. You don’t have to think about it now. But I know. Never worry. We will find the one responsible. And he will pay…

Okay, that's it so far. (Why is it that Koichi always ends up in such situations in my stories lately? @_@ ) I really hope you like the setting so far. From here, it's gonna be a suspense-crime story. Well, naturally there will be sex too. ^_~  Next chapter introducing a new OC and other main pairings. Hope you like it. Comment if you do. Actually... comment anyway... Please! ^^
