Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Don't own KinKi Kids, or anything JE-related
Warnings: bad language, mentions of sex, some angst
Setting: AU
Multi-Chapter

Intro: Both Hikaru and Go dread a new meeting, but in the end it is inevitable. And once they meet again, things turn so vivid they hardly find the time for awkwardness. And then, in the middle of all of that, even though Go is still disturbed by the other's profession and Hikaru forbids himself to trust too easily, it seems that somehow they finally find a way together.

Note: Oh, it was good fun writing this. No sex this time, though. I thought in order to impress that from here it's nto jsut a sex-relationship, they should get to learn the being close without getting to it right away. But more to come, of course. ^_~ Hope you enjoy this one.

“I’m telling you,” Saito impressed on Hikaru once more, “this is really not good. The boy is seriously falling for you.”
Hikaru simply shrugged. “Well, what should I do about it?”
“I’m really only concerned about you,” Saito sighed. “Please, be careful. In a situation like this, it’s impossible to please everyone. In the end, that is what you have to do, though.”
Hikaru looked at his elder for a moment, biting his lip. “So what do you suggest I do?” he asked, looking at the other expectantly.
“Best thing you can do is to talk to Kurakawa senior in person to clarify things,” Saito suggested. “That way you pass the development of the situation on to him and later, should things run wild, you can hardly be blamed.”

Hikaru shook his head. “I’m not doing that,” he decided.
Saito looked at him with concerned eyes. “Hikaru-kun,” he said in a sympathetic voice, “do you like that boy?”
Hikaru stared at him in surprise and cursed inwardly as he felt his face flush. “Where do you get that from?” he asked, laughing nervously.
“Well,” Saito mused, “I can’t think of another good reason to not get Kurakawa involved in the issue.”
“How about that boy is about the only customer who doesn’t hurt me and actually wants…” he broke off and corrected himself quickly, “I mean, he gets off on how I get hot. I don’t get that a lot, so naturally I don’t want to give it up easily.”

“I see,” Saito sighed. “So what is your plan?”
Hikaru shrugged. “I don’t know. Send him to me directly if he comes again. Maybe Kurakawa will… I don’t know… buy me for him?”
At that Saito stared. “What are you – delusional?”
Hikaru bit his lip. He knew what would be coming next.
“Kurakawa totally has the hots for you,” Saito burst out agitatedly. “There’s no way he’d leave you entirely to another, son or not.”
“Well, then I’ll talk to the junior Kurakawa and tell him how business runs,” Hikaru stated firmly.

“I keep telling you, that boy is not about business,” Saito said sternly. “He really wants you.”
“You know, I really think you’re imagining things,” Hikaru bit at him.
“Then why did he run?” Saito asked pointedly.
“I don’t know, but I’ll ask him,” Hikaru shot back, sticking out his tongue.
Saito sighed once more. “Fine. But watch out, this might become delicate.”

Hikaru sighed as he got into his little flat. “Tadaima.”
“Okeari nasai,” Katsumi chirped happily. “Otsukare-sama desu.”
“Betsuni otsukare de-nai,” Hikaru mumbled out.
Katsumi smiled at him. “You really need a new trade-mark.”
“Well, right now, I don’t really feel like being creative,” Hikaru told him.
Katsumi looked at him in concern. “What happened?”
The older boy just shook his head. “Nothing much. Just… work. Forget it.”
“If there’s something I can do…” Katsumi offered eagerly.
“Actually, there is,” Hikaru said with a sad smile.
“Wha-?”

But he didn’t even finish that one word before desperate lips silenced him and Katsumi, happily participating in the game, immediately forgot what he had wanted to say, or ask. Hikaru sighed happily at the warm caresses of hands and lips.

Yes, this is it. What I should hold onto. This is safe. It’s really good too. And should it ever get to be not enough, Katsumi will do anything for me. I am so lucky to have this, to have him. I don’t need anything else.

“Oh, Hikaru-kun,” Kajiyama-sensei called out.
“Kajiyama-sensei,” Hikaru greeted the old monk with a bow.
“What can I do for you?” Kajiyama asked.
“Oh, I’m really just here to pay Katsumi-kun a visit,” he explained. “I hardly get to see him lately.”
“Ah, yes,” the monk nodded, “Nakao-kun really works hard these days.”
“And yet, he still keeps watching out for me too,” Hikaru sighed, shaking his head, but a smile still graced his face. “He’s such a good friend. I really couldn’t ask for more.”

“And that’s why you came?” Kajiyama wanted to varify. “Because you want to show him some affection as well.”
“Mh, yes,” Hikaru confirmed.
“I see,” the monk mused. “Listen, Hikaru-kun, Nakao-kun will still take a few minutes to finish his cleaning. Why don’t you sit here with me?” he suggested, already sitting down on a large stone.
Hikaru blinked for a second, but then smiled and sat down in the grass.
“Tell me, Hikaru-kun,” Kajiyama adderssed him again, “is there anything you would like to talk about?”
The boy blinked at him in confusion. “Why?” he asked.

“Because usually, if you visit Nakao-kun during his working time, you’ll sneak in and make sure I won’t see you keeping the boy from his work,” Kajiyama explained.
“Well, I’m not here to keep him,” Hikaru shrugged. “I’m waiting for him to finish.”
“And not denying that you keep distracting him when you come around?” the monk asked in an amused voice.
“I figured you’d know somehow,” the boy explained. “I mean, I can’t be that good at sneaking. But you never say anything, so I thought you didn’t really mind.”
“I don’t,” Kajiyama agreed. “In fact, it seems that whenever you drop by Katsumi will be in a much lighter mood and more determined about his tasks.”

Hikaru blushed at that. “Oh… really?”
“Yes. So, Hikaru-kun, are you having trouble because of that?”
Again, the boy merely blinked. “What do you mean?”
“I was just thinking,” Kajiyama sighed, “that Nakao-kun seems very… enticed by your person. He fancies you a lot and he seems to seek your presence and when he gets it, he is over-joyed. Does that bother you?”
“Why would it?” Hikaru asked, getting nervous.
“Because from what I have seen, you show no such reactions towards him,” the monk explained, a meaningful look on his face.

“We are both clear on our relationship,” Hikaru told the older man.
“And there is nothing you do that might… give him false hopes?” the man asked pointedly.
“What are you trying to say?” Hikaru asked agitatedly.
“Nothing much,” the monk shrugged. “I’m just trying to figure something out.”
“Well, there is nothing to be figured out,” Hikaru shot back. “Katsumi is my dearest friend. I love him a lot. And yes, we share… a lot. I’m happy about that, not concerned. I’m glad that he loves me so. Nobody else loves me like that. I couldn’t be more content – what more should I ask for?”

The monk considered the boy for a while, then gave him a sympathetic, but somehow sad smile.
“I see,” the man said with a nod. “You’re right, that is indeed fortunate for you. But then,” Kajiyama mused, “will it be enough to be content?”
Hikaru merely stared at him. “What – I said, there is nothing more I could wish for.”
“Yes, yes, indeed, you are a lucky guy. And you have every reason to be content with the situation. But what if, for whatever reason, that should not be enough?”
“I really don’t know what you mean,” Hikaru said exasperatedly.

“Being content is nice,” the monk explained. “You lack nothing, and you can easily go on with things as they are. But then, if you should happen to get a glimpse at something stronger, there is the question whether you might not crave that.”
“Why should I get to be dissatisfied with something that has worked for me for such a longtime by a mere glimpse?” Hikaru asked, his pulse starting to rise.
“If you get to know something that would satisfy you more,” Kajiyama stated firmly. “It’s quite simple. Everything’s fine, so long as you don’t get ripped out of your world. One will happily cut their meat up with a stick and think it’s really a good method to get pieces. But once you see the effect of a knife, would you not crave to have it? It’s really just natural. You cannot miss what you don’t know. But then, if you learn something, it might stir something within you.”

“I totally don’t get you,” Hikaru said dismissively. “Talking about sticks and knives and trying to make a connection to my life. What is your point?”
“My point, Hikaru-kun,” the monk said, looking at him intensely, “is that there is a huge difference between being content… and being happy.”
Hikaru could merely stare at the man.
Kajiyama smiled at him again. “I see you understand what I mean. I’m not saying you cannot keep things as they are. It might actually be the better way. But you have to make your choice. You have to decide where you want to go.”
The boy was still lost for words.
“Here,” Kajiyama said in an offering voice, holding out his hand that held a little charm.
Hikaru blinked at him.

“Well, go on, take it,” the monk urged.
The boy took the item with deft fingers, inspecting it closely.
“Give this to the person of your choice,” Kajiyama told him. “It will make your connection strong.”
Hikaru smiled at the man. “Thank you,” he called out happily.
“Gladly,” the man smiled. “Just make sure you think about it carefully.”
“Of course,” Hikaru nodded, putting the charm into his kusode.
Just as Hikaru wanted to get some more advice from the wise man, they were interrupted.
“Sensei,” Katsumi called out.

He was covered in sweat and his face was red, but he smiled brightly and Hikaru couldn’t help smiling back at the other boy.
“I’m done,” Katsumi declared proudly.
“Very well,” Kajiyama smiled, “then I can leave the two of you to be off and stop boring Hikaru-kun with my old stories.”
“I really enjoyed talking to you,” Hikaru stated truthfully. “I’ll be sure to come around again.”
“Oh, then I’ll be looking forward to that,” the monk grinned. “I very much enjoy such intriguing company.”
“Thank you,” Hikaru answered.

“But for today I’m done,” Katsumi sighed happily. “Hikaru-kun, why don’t we go and buy some soba? I’m starving.”
“Sure,” Hikaru agreed quickly. “Let’s go.”
“Osaki ni shitsurei shimashita,” Katsumi said clearly, bowing.
“Otsukare-sama deshita,” Kajiyama answered, smiling.
“Shitsurei shimashita,” Hikaru said with a short bow, before following Katsumi off the grounds.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

“What did Kajiyama and you talk about today?” Katsumi asked casually as he sat down on the ground, drying his hair with a thick cloth.
“Nothing special,” Hikaru shrugged. “Although he keeps pestering me with being careful about my `second job´,” he sighed.
“He’s right, though,” Katsumi pointed out. “You know that some boys have gotten sick, right?”

“Yeah, I know,” Hikaru groaned out. “Well, it’s not like I can just drop it.”
“Well, you could… refuse new customers,” Katsumi suggested carefully. “I mean, there’s a lot of them already, right?”
“Yeah, I guess,” Hikaru shrugged. “But the more I get, the better my chance of being bought out. That would be like the best thing that could happen to me.”
Katsumi smiled at him. “I really hope that’ll happen soon.”
“Thanks,” Hikaru smiled back. “Okay, I’ll go take a bath now,” he declared, getting up to get himself cleaned.

“Oh, Kurakawa-sama,” Hikaru said with a bright smile. “So good to see you again. We missed you last week.”
“Oh, Hikaru-kun,” Kurakawa said with a grin, “you’re trying to hard.”
“I mean every word,” the boy assured. “You came alone tonight?” he asked carefully.
“Oh, yes,” Kurakawa answered. “Go wasn’t feeling well, so he stayed in bed.”
“Oh, I see,” Hikaru mused, then quickly placed the smile back on his face. “Well, I hope he’ll get better soon.”
“Thank you,” the daimyo nodded. “I will deliver your regards.”
“If you please,” Hikaru asid with a bow.

“I think he will be very happy,” Kurakawa stated, sounding amused. “It seems that he has… taken a certain liking to you.”
“Well, if that’s the case, tell him he can come back any time,” the boy grinned and was actually amazed with his own act.
“He’ll be glad to hear that,” Kurakawa told him. “For tonight,” he continued in a lower voice, “maybe you could attend to me a little bit?”
“I will do my best to please you,” Hikaru assured him and held the door open for the man to slip inside.

It was a most unexpected encounter. Hikaru spotted the boy at a small ramen store during bright day-light. He bit his lip, pondering his options. Deciding that right there was as good as anytime, he walked straight over to the place and sat himself down opposite Go, who was sipping on his meal. The boy looked up, blinked for a moment and then began to shrink away.
“Hi,” Hikru said plainly.
“H-hey,” Go mumbled back.
“Sorry, I don’t mean to disturb,” Hikaru said in a lower and softer voice. “But I was worried. Saito-senpai told me you came by the other day, but then you left before you came in to see me. So, I wondered if anything happened.”

“Nothing in particular,” Go retorted, visibly uncomfortable. “I… had to rush home.”
“All of a sudden?” Hikaru enquired, not really knowing why he made this such a big point, but unable to help it anyway.
“Yeah,” Go shto back at him. “And it’s none of your business, is it? It’s not like you wouldn’t have been busy with… well, other people. So what do you care?”
“I just found it off,” Hikaru defended himself, knowing he sounded far from convincing.
“What – that anyone would skip a go at your ass?” Go asked sarcastically, feeling at bit relieved as the boy was left quite speechless, but also reluctant at the hurt look in his eyes.
“You came to seek me out,” Hikaru finally managed.

Shit, am I lame today. What’s wrong with me?

“Yeah, and then I left,” Go shrugged. “It’s not such an uncommon thing to do. Watch me.”
And with that Go left the rest of his ramen and got up, heading down the street. Hikaru blinked after him for a moment, but then frowned.

Oh no, you’re not getting away again.

Hikaru jumped up quickly, running down the street to catch up with the fleeing boy.
“Oi,” he called out, but got no reaction. Getting angry, he sped up, grabbed the other by his robe and pulled him into a little off-road lane.
“What’s with you?!” Go demanded, shaking the other’s hand off.
“What’s with me?” Hikaru demanded. “What’s with you? Why do you keep running away from me?”
Go stared at him for a moment, then glared at him challengingly. “Why do you keep running after me?”

At that Hikaru froze, a look of horror shining in his eyes. Fortunately he could pull himself together quickly, trying to cover his little slip with a sneer.
“You are quite right, of course,” the actor admitted. “Sorry to bother you. But you’re such good fun to tease. No harsh feelings. I guess you’re just not the kind to enjoy simple pleasures. Watch out there, ne? And regard your father. Tell him he’ll get a special next time he comes by.”

Go gulped as the other boy turned his back on him, but for the time being he really just wanted to get away. So he waited until Hikaru was around the corner and then made to quickly get going, but as soon as he rushed back onto the main road, he bumped right into Hikaru again. At second glance he saw that the other boy had been taken into a tight grip by a large bugly man.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Hikaru cursed, trashing wildly, but being unable to break the tight hold. “Let go! What ever is your problem?”
“The problem, welp, is that I don’t like bill-dodgers,” the man spat out, looking at Go pointedly. “You guys thought by making that scene you’d get away without paying, or what?”

Go bit his lip. In his rush he had forgotten to pay for his meal.
“I’m sorry,” he blurted out. “Really, I… I just forgot. I’ll pay you. How much is it?”
“Oh no,” the man said sternly. “You need a lesson and that is just what you’re gonna get.”
“Please,” Go begged. “I really didn’t mean it. I’ll pay you double, how’s that? For the inconvenience. I’m really sorry.”
Go kept apologising and bowing until the man’s face softened. “Well… but what about you?” he asked, shaking Hikaru in his grip, which had the boy moan.
“He didn’t do anything,” Go assured him. “We just… well, we had a disagreement and he came to solve it. But I didn’t feel like it and I got so worked up, I simply ran away. Really, he didn’t do anything.”

The man grunted and flung Hikaru away. The boy landed harshly on the floor.
“You should not get involved with those people in the first place,” the man told Go.
“I know,” the boy nodded. “That’s what our argument was about, wasn’t it?” he added, giving Hikaru a pointed look.
“Very well, then,” the man shrugged. “Just pay me my 2 momme.”
“Four, as promised,” Go retorted, handing the man the according money.
Both boys sighed in relief as the man turned around and left. Go cast a wary look at Hikaru on the ground. Then he quickly bent to help him up, but Hikaru jerked and pushed him off.

“Leave me alone,” the boy demanded. “You just said you didn’t want anything to do with me. Just go and that’s that.”
“Come on now,” Go sighed. “Don’t be an idiot. Are you hurt?”
“What do you care?” Hikaru hissed out, glaring at him.
“I can’t just leave you here,” Go stated firmly. “Tell me where the doctor is.”
Hikaru sighed, but gestured in a direction ahead of them with his head.
“That way,” he said.
“Is it far?”
“Not when you can walk properly,” Hikaru bit sarcastically.

“Okay,” Go sighed. “You wait right here,” he told the other in a tone that left no room for argument.
Hikaru merely blinekd as the boy ran off and out of sight, wondering what he might be up to. Was he getting the doctor there? That would be quite a sight. Hikaru sighed. But he still waited patiently until the other returned. Not that he could have run all that well. As Go came back, Hikaru’s eyes went wide, though.
“What on earth…?” he gasped, watching th other guiding his horse down the street.
“Here,” Go said simply, putting a huge cloak over Hikaru’s form to hide him under it. “Come on,” he urged and with that heaved Hikaru onto his horse, taking the reins and walking down the street. Hikaru felt very self-conscious.

“What are you doing there?” he hissed in Go’s direction.
“I’m taking you to the doctor,” the other retorted. “You said you couldn’t walk well.”
“But still…” Hikaru mumbled.
“What,” Go asked, a smirk coming to his face. “Would you rather I had carried you?”
At that the actor blushed and Go felt a bit proud of having managed to shut the other up. It wasn’t a long walk. Hikaru guided Go through the streets and soon they were standing in front of Uesugi-sensei’s house.
“It’s in there,” Hikaru told his companion, pointing at the according building.

“Okay,” Go nodded, binding his horse securely to the house before heaving Hikaru back down and helping him inside.
Inside the house it was silent.
“Hello,” Go called out, still holding the other. “Someone there? I need help.”
A moment later Uesugi’s head appeared in a near door. “What is it?” he asked, then frowned as he saw the two figures. “What happened?”
“Hi-“ Go bagan, but quickly corrected himself, “this guy got hurt out on the street,” he related. “He couldn’t really walk, so I brought him here.”

As he lifted the cloak, Uegusi blinked in surprise. “Yamamoto-kun.”
“Hi,” Hikaru said in a small voice, feeling embarrassed again.
“Alright, then,” Uegusi mused with a sigh. “You,” he addressed Go, “what’s your name?”
“I’m Kurakawa Go,” the boy answered.
“Very well, then, Kurakawa-kun, will you please bring him right into that room,” he said, pointing. “I’ll just finish with my other patient and get some patches.”
“Right,” Go nodded, grabbing Hikaru a bit tighter again and dragging him off into the other room.

Both boys sighed as Hikaru slumped down onto the examination table, Go sitting down on the floor. An uncomfortable silence followed as both boys kept avoiding each other’s gazes.
“Thanks,” Hikaru finally managed.
“Not a problem,” Go shrugged. “Strictly spoken, it was my fault.”
“Well, anyway, you can go now,” Hikaru offered.
Go looked at him, wondering whether he should take that offer. He bit his lip.
“Do you want me to?” he finally asked in a small voice.
There was another long pause before Hikaru answered.
“Not particularly.”

Go smiled. “Then I’ll stay to see you bitching at the doctor while he treats you.”
“In your dreams,” Hikaru shot back, a smile of his own forming on his lips. “On the contrary. I bet if he has to cut, you’re gonna faint.”
“Not quite likely,” Go retorted. “I’ve gone hunting, I know a thing or two.”
“What do you know,” Hikaru mused. “Still waters run deep, huh?”
“You’d be surprised,” Go grinned back at him.
“Oh, there’s more about you to discover?” Hikaru asked in a teasing voice.
“Much more,” Go told him. “I am full of surprises…”
“So am I,” Hikaru told him.

The silence that followed then was not uncomfortable. It was certainly heavy, but in a quite different way. Hikaru felt his heart beating fast. Was he actually flirting with that boy? Really flirting, just for the fun of it, because he enjoyed it? He often had to do pet-talk, but this felt… different. They looked at each other with a smile.
Then the moment was broken as Uesugi came storming in. “Okay,” he addressed Hikaru, “explain yourself. What happened?”
“Ano…” Go cut in. “If you don’t mind I’ll tell you.”
Uesugi considered him for a moment, then shrugged. “Very well. Go on, then. How come you are here anyway?”
Go blinked. “Sorry?”

“Well, if anyone, I would have thought Nakao-kun would bring him,” the doctor explained.
At that Go shot Hikaru a curious look. “Who?”
Hikaru blushed furiously, then sighed reluctantly. “He’s my room mate,” he said dismissively. “And it’s not like we hang out all the time, or anything. I just can’t afford the palce on my own, so he agreed to move in and help me out.”
“Oh, okay,” Go said, still considering the other.
Then the doctor demanded their attention again. “Okay, I don’t really care who, but will someone now tell me what on earth happened?”
“Oh, yeah sure,” Go said, shaking his head to clear it.

Fifteen minutes later the two boys were back outside, Hikaru’s left angle tightly wrapped.
“I can take you home,” Go offered, holding out the cloak.
“No, thank you,” Hikaru said timidly.
“Would Nakao-kun get the wrong idea?” he asked, cursing himself for being so obvious.
“That’s totally off the point,” Hikaru shot at him. “I just don’t mean to bother you any further. And Katsumi is just a room mate. We don’t…” Hikaru broke off. It wasn’t exactly true that they did nothing, but what to tell the other? He would never understand.
“I get it,” Go sighed in defeat.

“The fuck you do,” Hikaru bit at him. “Okay, fine, so I have to sell my body and sometimes I feel rotten and he’s sweet and kind and he… comforts me,” he shrugged helplessly.
“I see,” Go replied flatly.
“We don’t do anything much,” Hikaru explained, casting a wary look to check the other’s reaction. “Some kissing, maybe light touching, but only with clothes on. That’s it. It’s just… to feel close.”
“Because you sell those… services,” Go sighed.
Hikaru gulped.

“Are you gonna sleep with some random guy again tonight?” Go asked, sounding a bit too hurt.
Hikaru gave him a dry smile. “I’m gonna get fucked,” he stated plainly. “As it is, I’m not sleeping with anyone.”
“Would you like to sleep with me?” Go asked, and the moment the words had left his mouth his eyes went wide at his own statement.
A short silence followed, then Hikaru chuckled amusedly. “My, you sure keep your promises. You really are full of surprises.” He considered the other for a moment. “Are you trying to get free fucking?” he play-mused.

“It’s called love-making,” Go explained, trying to give a confident grin.
“Ah,” Hikaru nodded. He tilted his head slightly, then shook it with a smile. “Very well, then, Prince on a white hourse, do take me home,” he requested.
Go blinked at him. “Eh?”
“Katsumi is working today,” Hikaru explained. “If we go like this,” he explained, pointing at the cloak, “you can take me home and… stay, if you like.”
“Sounds nice,” Go decided, getting his hourse.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Hikaru kept blinking at Go as the boy rushed and swished through the room, back and forth, outside and back in. When he had offered that the other could stay, he had certainly meant something entirely different than what Go was up to now. The boy was cleaning, washing and kept bringing Hikaru water and whatever food he could find.
“You need to eat properly,” Go finally decided. “I’ll just finish this and then I’ll buy something.”
“I don’t have money,” Hikaru told him.
“Don’t worry about it,” Go said dismissively. “It’s nothing much.”
“But I don’t want you to buy me food,” Hikaru hissed.

At the the other stopped, blinking at him in confusion. “Why not?”
Hikaru blushed a bit. “Well… I mean, if you spend money on me… it’ll be like you’re buying me after all.”
Go’s first reaction to that statement was to burst. What did that guy think of him? But then he restrained himself. He had learned that Hikaru was very cautious when it came to attending. Certainly the boy had been exploited a lot and couldn’t even imagine people doing anything for him, just because… they liked him.
So, instead of an outburst, Go gave the other a gentle smile. “Hikaru-kun,” he sighed. “Have I made any move to take advantage of you ever since we came here?”

The younger boy just looked sceptically at him. “Well… no,” he admitted.
“I don’t mean to buy anything from you,” Go explained. “I just… want you well, so let me get something to eat. It won’t hurt, I promise.”
Hikaru thought about that, still watching as Go finished cleaning the floor.
“Why?” he finally asked timidly.
“Sorry, what?” Go asked back, straightening up.
“Why… do you want me well?” the actor wanted to know.

A second of panic shot through Go, but then he thought it was best to be honest and at the same time as casual about it as possible. “Well, I like you,” he explained with a shrug, immediately resuming his work to cover the reddish colour on his face.
“You like me,” Hikaru repeated, talking to himself as if trying to grasp that statement.
His hand moved unconsciously over his robe, where inside still Kajiyama’s charm rested against his chest. He smiled.
“Well, then,” Hikaru mused playfully, “you could get me some fruit. I can’t even remember when last I had one.”

Go chuckled at that. “So now I’m allowed to offer you luxury?”
“You’re allowed,” Hikaru nodded, trying to sound dismissive.
“I see,” Go grinned. “Well, maybe I’ll pass by an according place… But don’t think I’ll make that a habit.”
Sure enough, about twenty minutes later Go returned from his little shopping tour with a sack of rice, some fresh mean and a few peaches. Hikaru grinned with glee, jumping on the floor excitedly while Go instantly made to cut up one of the friuts.
“Woah, it’s been forever since I’ve had one of those,” The actor chirped. “Come on, gimme, gimme.”

“Now just a minute,” Go sighed. “I’m almost done. Sheesh, there I’m in your house a few hours and before I even get to take you, you’re already bossing me around.”
“You could have,” Hikaru pouted defensively.
The other boy smiled in his direction. “I’ll be very much looking forward to it.”
With that he made the final cup and then handed Hikaru a neatly-cut peach on a small plate.
“Woah, thank you,” the actor cheered, picking a piece up and gulping it down.
“Well?” Go asked curiously.
“Delicious,” Hokari declared with a broad smile. “Have one.”

Go waved him off, though. “It’s fine. I’ve got plenty at home.”
“But… it’s better when you share it,” Hikaru mumbled out. “With someone you like,” he added in an even smaller voice.
Go’s face lit up like a birthday cake.
“Well, in that case,” he mused, picking a piece up himself and eating it. “Mh, it’s really good.”

“Thank you,” Hikaru said sincerely, looking at the other.
“For what?” Go wanted to know.
“For… today,” Hikaru decided.
The older boy smiled at him, but then his gaze hit the window and he froze.
“Oh my god,” he gasped. “It’s getting dark.”
“And?”
“I should have been home hours ago. Dammit,” Go cursed, jumping up. Then he looked back at Hikaru. “Ano… sorry, but I really have to…”

Hikaru just smiled at him. “It’s fine. I understand. You did so much for me today. Thank you.”
“Mah,” Go waved him off. “Nothing Nakao-kun couldn’t have done.”
Hikaru looked frimly at the other. “But I’m glad it was you,” he told the other. “I really rather have you doing those things for me than… anyone else.”
“In that case,” Go replied, moving back over and kneeling next to Hikaru on the floor, “I’ll soon be back and do many more things for you,” he promised.

Then he let his lips ghost over Hikaru’s and the boy answered immediately, pulling him close, making it a real, deep kiss.
“I’ll be waiting,” Hikaru whispered as they parted still agaisnt the other’s lips.
Go drew back and got up reluctantly. He smiled once more at the boy sitting on the floor, before he left the scene. Hikaru sighed and flopped himself down onto the floor completely. He closed his eyes and his fingers danced over his lips and he thought his heart could burst with the happiness he felt.
