Pairings: KoTsu, Ryo/Saito, TakkiTsuba
Other characters: Still in development, so I can't really tell. Nagase most probably and others
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Don't own them, just love them ^^
Warnings: This one is pretty fair, but be warned beforehand, the story will have lots of angst, also dark themes (nothing too drastic), big drama, language and sexual situations
Multi-Chapter
Notes: To everybody who is waiting for the final of Lucky Charm, it's in the work. I'm sorry for the wait, but I want to do it right and it's just not finished yet. In the meantime, I hope it's okay if I start this, since it's already done. Since my little poll resulted in a tiny favour of canon, I'm starting to post this now. (AU to follow soon.) Originally the story was planned very differently. I even wonder if anyone will be interested in it with the weird pairings. ^^" But somehow I liked how they flow together and I hope you will enjoy it. The idea is to show the dynamics of three different relationships, none of which is easy, while every single one has its own unique way of working. I really hope that you will like this.
Intro: Starting at a point where KinKi have gotten to know each other, their work together slowly developing into actual group work. While Koichi tends to be reserved he's already accepting Tsuyoshi next to him. The latter is pretty enticed by Koichi's "mysterious" character, but makes it a point not to bother his "partner" - that is until a fateful talk they have one night.
“Ne, Koichi.”
Koichi sighed silently. Ever since he’d been paired up with that weird guy who shared his surname, his life had become much more complicated. They’d worked together just a few times, but somehow their “collaboration” had become famous within the dorms. Koichi didn’t understand why that was. They didn’t spend a lot of time together. Actually, they didn’t even talk much. When thinking about it Koichi found that it was just that which made Tsuyoshi considerably more bearable than a lot of other people. He wasn’t clingy, or annoyingly chatty. While he tried to do just some interaction whenever they worked together, he didn’t approach Koichi out of the blue, or sit with him for lunch without asking, or show him his new collection of photos. Tsuyoshi loved photos. Even Koichi had understood that much. Whenever they visited a set or any other place Tsuyoshi found interesting he would take his camera with him and shoot away. Mainly he shared his stuff with Okada – which was perfectly fine for Koichi. In fact, it suited him quite well. There was just one thing that made things slightly uncomfortable.
“Koichi,” came the hushed voice again.
Okada was sleeping in another room, so after the lights went out Tsuyoshi would turn to him whenever he had something on his mind. Koichi knew there was no gain in trying to ignore the other. As casual as he could be, when he wanted attention Tsuyoshi was persistent. So Koichi put down his Game Boy and turned around.
“What is it?” he asked, keeping his voice low as to not wake anyone else – they had two more guys in the room, after all.
“Sorry,” Tsuyoshi mumbled apologetically.
“You’re disturbing me first and then you’re sorry?” Koichi asked, sounding somewhere between annoyed and amused.
Tsuyoshi bit his lip. “Well, I thought… you know, you’re supposed to say that.”
“It’s okay,” Koichi waved him off. “What do you want now?”
“Ah,” Tsuyoshi dragged out. “Yeah, I…”
“Yes?”
“I forgot,” Tsuyoshi admitted.
“What?!” Koichi burst out, his voice ringing through the room.
He cringed, checking whether he’d woken anyone, but it seemed their room-mates had some very deep sleep. Once he was sure they were in the clear he glared at Tsuyoshi.
“You call for me and the second later you forgot what you wanted to say?” he demanded.
“Sorry,” the other muttered again. “You… you distracted me,” he accused the other.
“I won’t even answer to that,” Koichi stated flatly, turning his back to Tsuyoshi again to resume his game.
Tsuyoshi screwed his eyes shut, cursing under his breath. He was such a coward. A stupid faggy coward. No, he decided. He would stop being a coward. He had to. He watched Koichi sitting there engaged in his game. With slow, but determined movements he robbed towards the other, his heart starting to beat faster, hammering in his chest as he was basically behind Koichi, leaning his head forward.
“Koichi…”
Koichi jumped, flying around and onto his feet. He had felt a strange sensation at his ear and had had the feeling that someone had sneaked up behind him. As he checked he found Tsuyoshi kneeling on the floor, staring at him with wide eyes.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Koichi burst out, not caring anymore about anyone hearing him.
“I’m sorry,” Tsuyoshi assured him, bringing his hands up defensively. “Sorry,” he repeated.
“Why do you sneak up to me like that?”
“I didn’t,” the other mumbled. “I was just… I wanted to see what you were playing,” he tried to explain.
“You could have asked me,” Koichi demanded.
Suddenly the big lights went on.
“What on earth is going on here?” an annoyed voice sounded from another futon.
“Sorry, Inocchi,” Koichi said apologetically. “Tsuyoshi’s being weird again.”
“I’m not being weird,” Tsuyoshi defended himself, sounding hurt.
“Well, whatever you’re doing,” Inohara bit out, “do it silently or somewhere else.”
“Yes, sorry,” Koichi apologized.
He seated himself again with another deep sigh.
“I’m sorry,” Tsuyoshi mumbled.
“What – again?” Koichi spat out sarcastically. “Did you also forget what you wanted to say again?”
“I… no,” the other stated. “But I don’t think now is a good time.”
Koichi turned to face him. “After all this fuss you had better tell me what in the world you wanted to say.”
“No, it’s really not… good now.”
“Tsuyoshi,” Koichi dragged out warningly.
“Okay, okay,” the younger of them gave him, trying to calm Koichi. He sighed deeply. Then he looked straight at Koichi. “Have you ever kissed?”
Koichi’s eyes widened in surprise. “Wha-what?!”
“Well, I just…” Tsuyoshi stuttered, “you know, I… I mean… most of the guys keep telling stories – about their first kisses and stuff. And… I was just wondering… if you’ve done it. Because… well, I haven’t and I thought you wouldn’t laugh at me and maybe you could tell me something I could say…”
“Oh,” Koichi mumbled, eyes widening slightly in surprise. “Well, I…” He blushed slightly. “Sorry, I… I’m not the guy you should be talking to. I… I haven’t.”
“Oh, okay,” Tsuyoshi nodded, blushing too. “Look, I’m sorry. I told you it’s not a good time.”
“Agreed,” Koichi muttered. “Well, sorry I can’t really help you. Now go back to sleep.”
“Right,” Tsuyoshi nodded. He was already crawling back to his own sleeping spot, when he turned around once more. “Koichi?”
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Koichi groaned out. “What?!”
“Well, I was just thinking. I mean,” Tsuyoshi licked his lips. “If we’re both… you know, inexperienced, maybe we can… share?”
Koichi merely blinked at him for a few seconds. Then he frowned slightly, still not saying anything. His frown deepened further as he inspected Tsuyoshi closely.
“What is that supposed to mean?” he finally asked.
“Well, isn’t it… I mean, since we’re the same like that… we could… like… help each other.”
“Who said I needed help?” Koichi bit out.
“I wasn’t saying that,” Tsuyoshi assured him. “I just…” he sighed. “I don’t know how it is for you, but I really don’t like it when everybody’s talking about this and I don’t know what to say. I mean, I can’t tell them that I haven’t kissed.”
“Why not?”
“Ah, that’s… you see…” Tsuyoshi sighed. “Okay, when they first asked me I panicked, so I lied and made something up. It was really feeble, though.”
Koichi couldn’t help an amused huff. “You made your first kiss up? Wow.”
“Well, I’ll see you admit that you haven’t kissed when a bunch of teenage guys is rambling about their… stuff,” Tsuyoshi dared.
The other considered him for a while, then he nodded.
“You’re probably right,” he finally agreed.
“See?” Tsuyoshi nodded.
“Alright then, let’s do it,” Koichi decided.
“Eh?”
“You know, I guess I’ll get involved in that kind of talk too,” Koichi mused. “So…”
“So?”
“You were suggesting we should kiss before, right?”
“Well,” Tsuyoshi blushed. “Sort of…”
“Then let’s do it,” Koichi insisted. “I mean, it’s just lips. Lips on lips and… I mean, the difference can’t be too big.”
“Difference?” the other blinked.
“Yeah, you know, to a girl,” Koichi explained.
“Oh, yeah,” Tsuyoshi nodded. “Right, that’s… no… I mean, you’re right.”
“Okay, then it’s settled,” Koichi decided. “We can… practice tomorrow. When will you be getting back?”
“Ah, around 5pm.”
“Perfect,” Koichi said happily. “I’ll be in around 6 and make sure we’ll have the room to ourselves.”
“Sounds good,” Tsuyoshi smiled.
“Okay, cool.”
They looked at each other for another moment before making to retreat to their beds. Suddenly Tsuyoshi felt Koichi’s hand tugging at his sleeve.
“Tsuyoshi?”
“Hm?”
“Nobody can know. Ever.”

Date: 2013-02-28 08:29 am (UTC)I don't know a lot about the other pairings (except that T&T are married, lol) but the idea seems interesting. Waiting for the angst !

Date: 2013-03-01 03:31 pm (UTC)Haha, the denial thing is one big issue. What's really weird is my personal feeling that they're somehow "taking turns". Like, whenever one of them gets over it and approaches the other, that's when the other retreats and vice versa. (Although Koichi is slightly in the lead, generally. ^^" )
Thanks a lot for reading. I'll update soon, because I want to get the story going and in order to do that I have to finish the prologue thing. And Lucky Charm, of course. I'll post the final soon too. ^^
