Notes: While I'm stuck on my other story-line (it's making progress, though ^^ ) since this came to me very easily and I have it anyway, I thought I could post this in the meantime. I really hope that some people are gonna like this, because I love the idea (even though I'll never understand why it came to me while watching the last "Harry Potter" ^^" ) and it could get to be big.

Intro: Well, the prologue is the intro, right? Er... Koichi meets a young woman on the street. And then...

The clacking sound of high heels echoes from the walls. While it hasn’t actually gotten cold, the strong wind makes it necessary to turn up the collar of your coat to shield yourself from the biting air. Then put your hands into the pockets quickly to warm them too. With your face hidden up to the nose inside the coat it’s okay to walk a longer distance. As far as warmth is concerned anyway…

It’s totally unreasonable. Everything is just the same as every night...

Just that the clacking of the shoes seems a bit louder tonight.

Probably the wind…?

And the road seems longer.

It’s been a long day…

A bit narrower, maybe.

Even though nobody else is out anymore…

And then there is this creepy feeling that crawls up your spine before spreading through your entire body and the second later you are certain that you’re being followed. Your heart starts to race and you consider your options. You can run, or you can face the demons in your head. They are just in your head, after all. With a quick swish you turn around, stopping your walk down the deserted road.

Nobody’s there.

A sigh of relief fills the whirled up air, your body finally relaxing again. Taking another deep breath you make to resume your way – and jump back at the figure that’s suddenly standing right in front of you. Body tensing up again, you back away, eyes growing wide.

The man in front of you is smiling. Not that creepy kind of mad smile you’d expect on the face of a lunatic murderer – not that you’ve ever seen one before. It’s a bright and cheerful smile he gives you.

“Hi,” he greets you, as though you were old friends. “I’m Koichi.”

You’re still frozen in place like struck by lightning, unable to move or say anything.

“It’s nice meeting you,” the man continues, “even though it’s under these circumstances. I’ll be your guide from here.”

“W-wha-… Who are you?” Your own voice is scaring you. It’s shaky and horror-stricken. “What do you want from me?”

“I’m sorry,” the man says sympathetically. “It’s not easy – neither to explain, nor to say it at all.”

“Get lost!” A shrieking voice, insecure instead of intimidating.

“I am terribly sorry to tell you this,” the man states, the genuine smile still on his face, as he slowly comes closer, “but you are going to die tonight.”

Finished. ^^ I know that with the header the cliff-hanger isn't nearly as striking as it could be, but I just love the scene. So, what do you guys think? Interesting? No? Tell me what you're thinking, please. ^^ I hope that many people will like it. Please comment your thoughts. Ideas too, if you like. I haven't decided on the entire rest of the "cast" yet, so ideas, thoughts, preferences, etc are very welcome. :D
