Introduction: Okay, here's a kind of aftermath to the mirror story line happenings. Some time later, maybe going towards 2007 already. Looking at their relationship now, were they able to solve their problems?

Note: This is sort of a finishing point for this story line, even though I might still add a thing or two about it. But right now the You story is much more prominent in my head, so I want to conclude this one. I hope it's to everybody's liking.

“Sorry to bark in like this,” Koichi said, bowing politely.

“Please,” the young guy in front of him waved him off. “I’m honoured to get to meet you. I’m a big fan, actually.”

“Thank you for your support,” Koichi said happily, bowing again.

“Goodness,” the other guy gasped. “Aren’t you the polite one.”

“I’m just a bit nervous, sorry,” the KinKi Kid admitted.

“No need,” the other assured him. “I’m Kitara Shun. You just call me Shun-chan.”

“Okay,” Koichi nodded happily. “I’m Koichi-kun.”

“Very well, then, Koichi-kun. Please, do sit down,” Shun said, gesturing to the mask seat.

“Thanks,” Koichi laughed, sitting down.

“So,” Shun started a lighter conversation as he got started on Koichi’s hair. “How did you get to be on the show today?”

“Taichi-kun said that since Tsuyoshi and I are both here, we should be on the show together,” Koichi related. “His schedule for the show is tight anyway and since we’re always together on shows, he thought it might not be off, actually. I really think he just wants to see reactions to delicate questions,” he told the stylist. “I’m not very good with the Poker face, you know.”

Shun laughed at that. “I see. But not to worry. Taichi-kun is very nice on his show, really.”

“Thanks,” Koichi smiled thankfully. “I really don’t like talk shows, especially if I have to do a lot of the talking.”

“Well, at least you’re gonna look good,” Shun concluded, giving the finishing touches to Koichi’s hair.

The singer smiled.

“You’ve got really cool hair, you know,” Shun said in wonder.

“What are you saying?” Koichi snorted out. “It’s thin and faint coloured and it’s flat and…”

“It’s very easily styled,” Shun informed him. “With just a light touch it will move into position. I don’t get that a lot. I really like your hair.”

“Thanks,” Koichi said, blushing.

Shun chuckled at that.

“What?!” Koichi asked, embarrassed.

“Nothing, sorry,” Shun smiled, shaking his head. “Nothing, really. Will you close your eyes for a moment, I’ll start with the facial make-up.”

“Right,” the KinKi Kid replied, closing his eyes.

“Long lashes,” the stylist analysed. “No need for mascara. I’ll just give you something to smooth out the colour.” He immediately got to his job. “And then some stronger colour on your eye brows and that should do,” he stated.

About ten minutes later Shun said, “You can open your eyes again. All done.”

Koichi looked into the mirror and smiled approvingly. “Looks good. Thank you,” he directed at Shun.

“That’s my job,” the other stated simply.

As Koichi got up, the stylist grabbed him by the arm and pulled him close. Taken totally aback, Koichi merely stared wide-eyed as the other pressed his lips to his own, trying to initiate a kiss.

What the…?!?!?!

As he tried to push the other man away, his arm was caught by a strong hand. He started to twist uncomfortably in the other man’s tight embrace when he heard a voice and froze in shock.

“Shall I come back later?” Tsuyoshi asked pointedly, raising a brow at the situation.

Shun let go of Koichi to see who had disturbed him in his quest. He considered Tsuyoshi for a while, then just let go of Koichi completely.

“No, that’s okay. I’m all done here,” he stated simply, leaving the room in a flash.

The KinKi Kids stared at each other for a good five minutes. Then Koichi broke down on the floor.

“Tsuyoshi, really, really, really, I did not want to kiss that guy,” Koichi blurted out desperately. “Please, I…. was just getting up and there he grabbed me and… I tried to fight him off, really. I swear, he did not say anything, he just grabbed me and forced this kiss on me. Why didn’t I punch him? I should have done that. I would have done that next, for sure. Tsuyoshi, please….”

“Enough,” the younger boy interrupted the other’s flow of words.

Koichi stilled immediately, watching Tsuyoshi warily.

“Can’t be helped, I guess,” Tsuyoshi said, shaking his head. Then he grinned at Koichi. “You’re just too cute.”

“Eh?” Koichi blinked.

“I guess I’ll have to live with that fact that my lover is hot stuff and basically everybody wants to jump him,” the younger boy declared. “Not that I won’t complain about that guy being seriously bold. The agency will hear about this.”

“B-but….” Koichi stuttered.

“What, you don’t want me to report?” Tsuyoshi asked, blinking.

“What? No,” Koichi waved him off. “I, yes, I agree. The agency should know. But… you just came into my dressing room and find me lip locked with a stranger. And you think nothing of it?” he gasped in disbelief.

“Oh, I do,” Tsuyoshi informed him. “And if I had not sworn on that no-revenge ceremony…” he mused.

“Stop kidding,” Koichi demanded. “I just kissed another guy,” he yelled out.

Tsuyoshi blinked at that. “Yes, I suppose.”

“And that’s okay for you?!?!” the older boy asked, gaping.

“Well, it’s not like you could have helped it,” Tsuyoshi shrugged.

“As far as I’ve told you,” Koichi reminded him.

The other boy thought on that a bit, then smiled at his lover, eyes shining brightly. “I’ll go by your word, Koichi. Absolutely,” he told the other. “I trust you.”

“You….” Koichi stared at the other, wide-eyed. “You…. what?!”

“I trust you,” Tsuyoshi repeated firmly. “If you say he just grabbed you and you absolutely didn’t want him to kiss you, then that is just what happened.”

Koichi kept staring at him for a while longer, then he flung himself at his lover, holding him tightly.

“Tsuyoshi,” he sobbed into the other’s shoulder.

“What now,” the other asked in mock-annoyance, but smiling slightly. “What are you crying over?”

Koichi just shook his head against him.

“It’s okay,” Tsuyoshi assured him. “It’s really okay.”

“I love you,” Koichi mumbled out, the words muffled against Tsuyoshi’s form.

The younger boy took his lover into his arms. “I love you too. Idiot,” he added, grinning. “Now let the fuck go of me, or else we’re gonna be out of the show.”

Koichi nodded, drawing back and flashing his brightest smile.

“Oh goodness,” Tsuyoshi gasped out, sounding a bit amused.

“What?” Koichi asked, blinking.

Tsuyoshi smirked. “I think that make-up of yours needs a re-do.”

Phew. Done. I really liked this story line, even though it was distressful. But now I want to move on and I wonder what kind of things are gonna happen next. Hope you liked. ^_^
