Introduction: This takes place quite shortly after the last episode. Some usual couple issues arise, "Bitchy Koichi" makes an appearance, but Tsuyoshi is prepared for every- and anything. On top of that Koichi and Tsuyoshi are trying to figure out how to go about the sex business.
Note: I know, I promised some more details on the actual "love life". But I wanted to make this more realistic, so it takes some time to set things up. In order to please patient readers, I'm double updating tonight. I hope you're still gonna check this one out, I had a lot of fun writing it. ^_^
Koichi’s head shot up from his book as he heard a familiar clinging sound outside the door. He shook his head, grinning. He’d never understand why on earth Tsuyoshi put all of his work keys to his “home” keys. Sometimes he stood outside that door for about a minute, just fumbling until he finally found the key to Koichi's door. However, Koichi had no patience for that right now. So he swiftly got up from the kitchen table and went straight for the door, pulling it open impatiently.
“Okaeri,” he declared happily, as he looked at Tsuyoshi’s startled face.
“Ah, Koichi! What are you doing?!” the younger boy complained loudly. “You’re gonna give me a heart attack.”
Koichi pouted. “Well, it’s not my fault if you never find your keys.”
“I always do find my keys,” Tsuyoshi informed him. “You’re just way too anxious, really.”
“Well, fine,” Koichi huffed. “If it doesn’t suit you that I’m excited for you to show up….”
If there was an actual end to that sentence, Tsuyoshi never heard it, because in that moment the door slammed shut in his face. First Tsuyoshi blinked at the door, not really knowing what to do, or how to react. Then, he sighed, fumbling for his keys again. As he finally found it, he grinned, opening the door. Tsuyoshi dropped off his shoes, then had a look around the apartment for his boyfriend. He found him sitting on the sofa in the living room, arms crossed around his chest, TV running.
“What are you doing there?” Tsuyoshi asked, chucking lightly.
“I’m watching TV,” Koichi spat out, not even facing the other boy. “So, I’m really busy right now, you know.”
Tsuyoshi blinked. “What – you want me to leave?”
“Yes,” Koichi said firmly, eyes glued to the screen.
Tsuyoshi grinned again. “Nah, that’s not true. If you really didn’t want me here, you wouldn’t have left me outside with the key and not put the chain on.”
Koichi sighed. “Fine. Stay, or go, I don’t care. If you’re hungry fix yourself some dinner, or something. I’m watching TV now.”
A glimpse at the screen had Tsuyoshi’s grin broaden quite a notch. “Koichi, come on, now. You HATE Kamen Raider. With a passion, actually.”
Koichi flinched a little at that. “Well, I’ve decided to reconsider.”
For a moment Tsuyoshi thought about sitting down next to Koichi and trying to pry his attention away from those stupid figures jumping about in that stupid show. Then, however, he decided to do something different. “Well,” he said calmly, with a soft smile, “that’s good. If I’m lucky, you’ll reconsider me too, ne?”
Koichi just scoffed a bit.
“Okay,” Tsuyoshi nodded. “You think about that. I’ll just… Oh, btw, I got this.” Tsuyoshi held out a small bag for Koichi to see.
The older boy’s eyes ventured quickly over the object in question, assessing its impact. As he couldn’t see what was inside, he instantly focused on the screen again.
“I told you, I’m busy right now,” Koichi informed the other.
“Right, sorry,” Tsuyoshi said, grinning at Koichi’s curious inspection of the bag. “I’ll just leave it here,” he stated casually, putting the bag on the small table.
Without another word Tsuyoshi turned and went back into the kitchen. As soon as he’d left the room (Koichi checked three times, only being satisfied when he couldn’t even see the other’s shadow moving anymore) he eyed the bag on the table curiously. He bit his lip, fumbling with the remote control nervously. Then he abruptly teared his gaze away and focused on the TV again.
What – he thinks he can just bring me some chocolates and everything’s gonna be settled? Oh, but he bought this before we had a fight. He got something for me without any special kind of reason. But still… he’s using it now as a make up kind of thing. That’s even worse. He’s distorting the meaning of it. Idiot. ……. AH, I REALLY HATE Kamen Rider!!!!!!!
With a slight bounce Koichi hopped nearer to the table so that he could reach the bag Tsuyoshi had placed there. He snatched it swiftly, ripping at it impatiently, wanting to know what was inside. As he revealed the content, his eyes went wide. After a while of simply staring at the object, his gaze shifted to the door. He gripped Tsuyoshi’s present firmly, got up and trotted out of the living room.
His eyes kept swaying warily through the rooms, not all the way sure as to where they might catch sight of Tsuyoshi. After some aggravating minutes Koichi found that the other boy had really retreated into the kitchen and, according to the smell, was working on his dinner. Koichi smiled slightly as he watched the other, who was cutting some kind of vegetable, his back turned to Koichi. The older boy tipped at the door to push it against the wall. A low thudding sound could be heard. Tsuyoshi started and turned around. As he saw Koichi in the door, his eyes lit up, but he dared not speak up yet, not entirely sure about whether Koichi had come to seek him out or to get rid of him after all. So he just smiled nervously and turned back to his cutting.
“Dumped it,” Koichi said evenly.
Tsuyoshi flinched at that. He turned around to look at the other again. “Sorry?”
“Kamen Raider,” Koichi said, grinning. “I really do hate it.”
“So the reconsidering didn’t help, huh?” Tsuyoshi smiled sadly.
“Well, it’s stupid and cheesy and corny and way too colourful. So, I guess it’s not a big loss,” Koichi shrugged.
“I see,” Tsuyoshi nodded, already making to turn back to his food again.
“You on the other hand,” Koichi added quickly, catching the other’s attention.
“Yes?” Tsuyoshi asked, looking at him expectantly.
“You’d be a huge loss,” Koichi said, not meeting the other’s eyes. “I’m sorry, I completely over-reacted.”
“If you say so,” Tsuyoshi smiled.
“Hey,” Koichi pouted.
“Oh, come on. If I’d told you that, you would have jumped in my face,” the younger boy said, now grinning again.
Koichi took a deep breath to give the other an appropriate reply, but then halted, blinking. Next he burst out laughing, making Tsuyoshi blink likewise.
“You’re absolutely right,” Koichi laughed out. He shook his head, smiling. “It’s amazing how you just know how to deal with me.”
“Yes, I’m making a study on that,” Tsuyoshi teased.
“Am I that much of a pain?” Koichi asked, actually feeling guilty for his out-break.
“Nah, I don’t know,” Tsuyoshi mused. He turned back to the oven, pulling a pot up, presenting it to Koichi. “Ramen,” he declared simply.
Koichi blinked at him, then looked inside the pot. As his gaze met Tsuyoshi’s again, he beamed at him, eyes glittering. “You made that for me?”
“For us,” Tsuyoshi informed him.
“But you don’t like Ramen,” Koichi pointed out.
“Well, it’s not among my favourites. But with your outburst of joy here I find…” He broke off, smiling at Koichi.
“What?” The older boy wanted to know, blushing.
“You’re actually quite easily pleased,” Tsuyoshi informed him. “And just that smile of yours will make it taste better still.”
“Tsuyoshi,” Koichi mumbled out, blushing at the flattery.
“Well, enough sweet-talk,” the younger boy waved him off. “I have a meal to finish here. You go back and wait until I’m done here. And leave this,” he added, pointing at his present. “That’s for after dinner.”
Koichi nodded, grinning, and retreated back into the living room.
“The joys and pleasures of gay love making,” Koichi read out aloud, turning the book around, grinning. “Where did you buy it?”
“An off age friend of mine ordered it for me,” Tsuyoshi told him. “What do you think? I can’t walk into a book store and ask for the gay sex guide section.”
“You could find it for yourself,” Koichi mused.
“So I’ll still have to pay and people will see me,” Tsuyoshi pointed out.
Koichi gulped at that. “Oh, FUCK!”
“What?!” Tsuyoshi demanded, jumping.
“No, no, no,” Koichi mumbled. “It’s fine. It’s not like that. That guy was like 80 years old. Even if he knew me, he wouldn’t have recognized me. He didn’t seem to.”
“Kou,” Tsuyoshi said slowly, demanding attention. “What did you do?”
“Well, I…” Koichi muttered, “I kind of went “shopping”… I didn’t really think that someone might recognise me and see what I’m buying and maybe, you know, make the connection.”
Tsuyoshi sighed. “Okay, that’s…. When was that?”
Koichi blinked. “Monday,” he said silently.
Tsuyoshi smiled reassuringly at him. “Did Johnny call you and you missed him?”
The older boy shook his head, still looking agitated.
“Then I think we’re save,” Tsuyoshi told him. “Stuff like that must immediately go out or be pressed, or else the impact will fail.”
“You think?” Koichi asked warily.
“Yes, I really think we’re okay,” the younger boy nodded. “Just, please, never do something like that again.”
“Sorry,” Koichi mumbled.
“Nah, forget about it already,” Tsuyoshi demanded. “Or better even, show me what it is that you bought,” he added, grinning.
Beaming at the other Koichi got up and went into his bed room. When he returned he too had a book in hand. He showed it proudly to Tsuyoshi, who looked at it and burst out laughing.
“Omg, where ever did you find that?! I don’t think you’d have to be worried about that one in the first place.”
Koichi blinked at the other. “What’s wrong with it? It’s quite good, really.”
“No, no, I don’t mean…” Tsuyoshi assured him, still heaving. “It’s brilliant. Can I see it?”
Koichi handed him the book, still looking at him curiously.
“Blowjobs for Dummies,” Tsuyoshi declared gleefully. “I don’t believe it. Have you read it?”
“Eh? Oh, ano… some,” Koichi admitted.
“And have you learned anything?” Tsuyoshi wanted to know.
“Yeah, don’t bite,” Koichi answered bitingly.
Then it was the older boy who burst out laughing as Tsuyoshi actually had a rather pained expression on his face.
“Sorry, sorry,” Koichi said apologetically. “Well, shall we read some?”
“What – here? Together?”
“Why not?” Koichi asked, shrugging. “If we’re unclear about something, we can just… well, try it.”
Tsuyoshi grinned at him. “Okay, then. Where do we start?”
“Okay,” Tsuyoshi nodded.
Ten minutes later the two boys were sitting in the living room, eyes blinking wildly.
“Tsuyoshi,” Koichi finally stated, “I’m sorry. I really love you, but I’m absolutely never gonna have sex with you.”
“Well,” Tsuyoshi said, licking his lips. “It’s not that bad, I think, if you just… do it step by step.”
“I’m not gonna clean myself `inside´, first or second step,” Koichi stated firmly, shaking his head.
“Yeah, that,” the younger boy said nervously. “I guess it’s not pleasant.”
“Not pleasant?!” Koichi demanded.
“Well, think of it as just, you know, an obstacle of an every day routine. Like taking a shower, shaving, and so on.”
“Oh yeah, that too,” Koichi went on, making a face. “I’m so not shaving there either. That’s just….”
“But, you know, if I’m to put my mouth there, I think I’d appreciate it if I didn’t get choked,” Tsuyoshi mused. “Wouldn’t you? I mean, we’re not talkig about `blank´. Just a bit of trimming, really.”
Koichi shifted uncomfortably. “Well…”
“See?” Tsuyoshi smiled. “It’s just new. We have to fit it into our every day life somehow.”
“But I can’t do that just one minute to the next,” Koichi demanded.
“Nobody is expecting you to,” the younger boy informed him. “That’s why I told you we should take it slow. What we did last time worked out alright as far as I’m concerned. So we start there and we work our way through this…. well, book.” He grinned helplessly, holding the object in question up.
“Okay,” Koichi nodded, straightening up. “We can do that.”
“That’s the spirit,” Tsuyoshi cheered encouragingly. Then he grabbed Koichi, pulling him close. “Care to practice?”
“Why not – a little,” Koichi teased, darting his tongue out playfully.

Okay, done for now. Well, I thought it wouldn't be easy for them. They're both guys, so there isn't much that they would have heard or seen about sex issues. And somehow I pictured Koichi as quite fearful and Tsuyoshi as considerate. How come? ^_^ Anyway, I thought it would be fun to have them explore this together. Next chapter for the "NC" lovers. ^_~
